...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL DAVIDSON AND WEST
CENTRAL WILSON COUNTIES THROUGH 930 PM CDT...
At 907 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Hermitage, or 8 miles east of Nashville, moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mount Juliet, Lakewood, Hermitage, Rural Hill, Green Hill, and Percy
Priest Lake.
This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 216 and 226.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
Middle Tennessee.
