MACON COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
Middle Tennessee.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 400 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN OVERTON...NORTHEASTERN SMITH...NORTHEASTERN DE
KALB...SOUTHERN JACKSON...NORTHERN WHITE AND PUTNAM COUNTIES...

At 332 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Monterey to near Baxter, moving southeast at 35
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Livingston, Gainesboro, Algood, Monterey, Baxter,
Hamptons Crossroads, Granville, Burgess Falls State Park, Rickman,
and Cummins Falls State Park.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 268 and 300.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

building.
