...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN DICKSON AND
SOUTHWESTERN CHEATHAM COUNTIES THROUGH 300 PM CDT...
At 228 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles north of White Bluff, or 11 miles west of Ashland City, moving
northeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Ashland City and Cheatham Dam.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
