...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN DICKSON...
NORTHWESTERN WILLIAMSON AND SOUTH CENTRAL CHEATHAM COUNTIES THROUGH
230 PM CDT...

At 153 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
White Bluff, or 8 miles east of Dickson, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Dickson, White Bluff, Kingston Springs, Pegram, and Burns.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 175 and 191.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 1 and 4.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
