...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN DE KALB...NORTHERN
VAN BUREN...NORTHEASTERN WARREN AND WHITE COUNTIES THROUGH 445 PM
CDT...

At 409 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles southwest of Sparta, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Sparta, Spencer, Doyle, Virgin Falls State Natural Area, Rock Island
State Park, and Fall Creek Falls State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
