...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WESTERN CUMBERLAND...EASTERN
WHITE...SOUTHEASTERN PUTNAM AND SOUTHWESTERN FENTRESS COUNTIES
THROUGH 1100 AM CDT...

At 1026 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles east of Monterey to Spencer. Movement
was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Crossville, Pleasant Hill, Virgin Falls State Natural Area, Lake
Tansi, Slate Springs, and Indian Rock Lake.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 304 and 321.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
