...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL MAURY...WESTERN
WILLIAMSON AND NORTHEASTERN HICKMAN COUNTIES THROUGH 1230 AM CDT...
At 1200 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Fairview, moving southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Spring Hill, Mount Pleasant, Thompson's Station, Fairview,
Santa Fe, Bon Aqua, Williamsport, Primm Springs, Leipers Fork, and
Lyles.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 65 between mile markers 48 and 59.
Interstate 840 between mile markers 5 and 31.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
