...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN DICKSON...
NORTHEASTERN MAURY...WILLIAMSON...SOUTH CENTRAL CHEATHAM AND
NORTHEASTERN HICKMAN COUNTIES THROUGH 1145 PM CDT...

At 1108 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Fairview, moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Franklin, Columbia, Spring Hill, Kingston Springs, Thompson's
Station, Pegram, Fairview, Leipers Fork, and Natchez Trace At Highway
96.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 181 and 186, and near mile marker
188.
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 47 and 65.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 3 and 38.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
