...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN DAVIDSON...
NORTHWESTERN SUMNER...CENTRAL CHEATHAM AND CENTRAL ROBERTSON COUNTIES
THROUGH 530 AM CDT...

At 455 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Springfield to near Ashland City. Movement
was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Springfield, Ashland City, Goodlettsville, White House, Millersville,
Greenbrier, Coopertown, Ridgetop, Cross Plains, Joelton, Pleasant
View, Orlinda, Bells Bend, Whites Creek, and Beaman Park.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 98 and 116.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 23 and 42.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
