SUMNER...NORTHEASTERN CHEATHAM...NORTHWESTERN MACON...NORTHWESTERN
TROUSDALE AND CENTRAL ROBERTSON COUNTIES THROUGH 1030 PM CDT...
At 945 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Cross Plains, or 12 miles east of Springfield, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Gallatin, Springfield, Lafayette, Hendersonville, Goodlettsville,
White House, Millersville, Greenbrier, Coopertown, Westmoreland,
Ridgetop, Cross Plains, Portland, Pleasant View, Orlinda,
Mitchellville, Bethpage, Oak Grove, Bledsoe Creek State Park, and
Cottontown.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 65 between mile markers 100 and 120.
Interstate 24 between mile markers 24 and 29.
