...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN DICKSON...
SOUTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY AND NORTHWESTERN CHEATHAM COUNTIES THROUGH
500 PM CDT...

At 423 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 14
miles south of Clarksville, or 5 miles north of Cumberland
Furnace, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ashland City, Clarksville, Slayden, Cheatham Dam, and Cunningham.

This includes Interstate 24 between mile markers 13 and 16.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
