...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 PM CDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN DICKSON...SOUTH CENTRAL MONTGOMERY...SOUTHEASTERN
HOUSTON AND NORTHERN HUMPHREYS COUNTIES...
At 1110 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 8 miles east of Erin, moving east at 60 mph. Another
severe thunderstorm capable of producing at ornado was located near
Waverly, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
Locations impacted include...
Dickson, Waverly, Camden, Erin, New Johnsonville, McEwen, Charlotte,
Vanleer and Slayden.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Tornadoes are extremely difficult to see and confirm at night. Do not
wait to see or hear the tornado. TAKE COVER NOW!
