...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 AM CST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Giles and Lawrence.

* WHEN...Until 1230 AM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 921 PM CST, emergency management reported heavy rain in
    the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
    ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 1 and 2 inches
    of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Lawrenceburg, Pulaski, Loretto, Ardmore, St. Joseph, Elkton,
    Minor Hill, Ethridge, Lynnville, Goodspring, Leoma, Prospect,
    Westpoint, Frankewing and Iron City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
