...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern
Overton, northwestern Cumberland, northeastern White and southeastern
Putnam Counties through 915 PM CST...

At 844 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles south of Monterey, or 11 miles northeast of Sparta, moving
northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Crossville, Monterey and Pleasant Hill.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 302 and 321.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
