* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Sumner County in Middle Tennessee...
  Western Macon County in Middle Tennessee...
  Western Trousdale County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 800 PM CDT.

* At 714 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northeast
  of Portland, or 19 miles north of Gallatin, moving south at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Gallatin, Hartsville, Hendersonville, Westmoreland, Portland,
  Mitchellville, Cottontown, Bethpage, Oak Grove and Bledsoe Creek
  State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.
