The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
  Southern Arkansas
  Northern Louisiana
  Northern and Central Mississippi
  Western Tennessee

* Effective this Sunday night and Monday morning from 650 PM
  until 200 AM CDT.

* Primary threats include...
  Scattered damaging winds likely with isolated significant gusts
    to 75 mph possible
  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2.5
    inches in diameter possible

SUMMARY...Clusters of intense storms are likely to continue
southeastward this evening with continued potential for damaging
winds, including potentially significant severe wind gusts, aside
from isolated large hail. Additional storms should develop across
the ArkLaTex vicinity later this evening and early in the overnight.

The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 65
statute miles north and south of a line from 65 miles west northwest
of El Dorado AR to Columbus MS. For a complete depiction of the

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
tornadoes.
