The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
  Eastern Arkansas
  Extreme northeastern Louisiana
  Northern and central Mississippi
  Southwestern Tennessee

* Effective this Sunday morning from 225 AM until 1000 AM CDT.

* Primary threats include...
  Scattered damaging winds likely with isolated significant gusts
    to 75 mph possible
  Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible
  A tornado or two possible

SUMMARY...Clusters of severe thunderstorms initially over watch 331
in Arkansas are expected to persist and perhaps organize further, as
they move across the Mississippi River vicinity and into the
remainder of this watch through the morning.  Severe gusts and
occasional large hail are the main threats.

The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 120
statute miles north and south of a line from 45 miles north
northwest of Pine Bluff AR to 20 miles south of Columbus MS. For a

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
tornadoes.
