The National Weather Service in Nashville has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Western Fentress County in middle Tennessee...
  Central Overton County in middle Tennessee...
  Southwestern Pickett County in middle Tennessee...

* Until 615 PM CDT.

* At 248 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. As much as 5 and 7 inches of
  rain has fallen, and flash flooding is already occurring in the
  warned area and within the Obey River basin.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Livingston, Jamestown, Allardt, Crawford, Grimsley and Clarkrange.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
