...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 PM CDT
FOR NORTHERN MONTGOMERY...NORTHEASTERN CHEATHAM AND ROBERTSON
COUNTIES...

At 1216 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Guthrie, or 8
miles east of Clarksville, moving southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Clarksville, Springfield, Oak Grove, Fort Campbell, Greenbrier,
Coopertown, Cross Plains, Guthrie, Pleasant View, Orlinda, Adams and
Cedar Hill.

This includes Interstate 24 between mile markers 1 and 31.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
