...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of southeastern Overton,
Cumberland, southeastern White, southeastern Putnam and Fentress
Counties through 400 PM CDT...

At 311 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles east of Livingston to 6 miles east of
Monterey to 11 miles east of Sparta. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Crossville, Livingston, Jamestown, Fairfield Glade, Monterey, Crab
Orchard, Allardt, Pleasant Hill, Grimsley, Cumberland Mountain State
Park, Slate Springs, Lake Tansi, Clarkrange, Indian Rock Lake and
Crawford.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 303 and 340.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
Middle Tennessee.
