The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Tornado Watch for portions of
Eastern Arkansas
Northern Louisiana
Western Mississippi
Southwest Tennessee
* Effective this Wednesday afternoon and evening from 235 PM
until 800 PM CST.
* Primary threats include...
A couple tornadoes possible
Scattered damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 75
mph possible
SUMMARY...Broken line of showers and thunderstorms may reintensify
as it spreads across the Lower Mississippi Valley into early
evening, with an embedded tornado and damaging wind threat.
The tornado watch area is approximately along and 55 statute miles
east and west of a line from 40 miles northeast of Memphis TN to 55
miles west of Natchez MS. For a complete depiction of the watch see

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
and possible warnings.
