...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern
Davidson, southeastern Sumner, northern Wilson and southwestern
Trousdale Counties through 1230 PM CST...

At 1159 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Rural Hill, or 12 miles west of Lebanon, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Gallatin, Lebanon, Mount Juliet, Rural Hill, Antioch, Belinda City,
Hermitage, Green Hill, Percy Priest Lake, Bledsoe Creek State Park
and Dickerson Chapel Recreation Area.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 216 and 237.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 57 and 58.
 Interstate 840 near mile marker 76.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Brief heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to minor localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
