...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 PM CST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Maury, Robertson,
  Rutherford, Sumner, Trousdale, Williamson and Wilson.

* WHEN...Until 1230 PM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 919 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Franklin, Gallatin, Lebanon, Springfield, Ashland City,
    Centerville, Nashville, Madison, Hendersonville, Brentwood,
    La Vergne, Spring Hill, Mount Juliet, Goodlettsville, White
    House, Millersville, Greenbrier, Nolensville, Forest Hills
    and Oak Hill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
