The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Tornado Watch for portions of
  Extreme east central Arkansas
  Northwest Mississippi
  Southwest and west central Tennessee

* Effective this Monday night and Tuesday morning from 1010 PM
  until 400 AM CST.

* Primary threats include...
  A few tornadoes possible
  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
  Isolated large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible

SUMMARY...Clusters of storms, with embedded bowing segments and
supercell structures, will spread northeastward overnight toward
northwest Mississippi and western Tennessee.  A few tornadoes,
damaging gusts, and isolated large hail will all be possible with
the strongest storms.

The tornado watch area is approximately along and 40 statute miles
east and west of a line from 15 miles east northeast of Dyersburg TN
to 70 miles south southwest of Memphis TN. For a complete depiction

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
and possible warnings.

surface and aloft to 1 inch. Extreme turbulence and surface wind
