...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys, Lewis and Maury.

* WHEN...Until 1130 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 536 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Dickson, Hohenwald, Centerville, Hurricane Mills, Nunnelly,
    Pinewood, Kimmins, Lyles, Bucksnort, Bon Aqua, Gordonsburg,
    Primm Springs, areas along the Piney River, Beaverdam Creek
    including areas near Coble, Whitfield, and Aetna, Cane Creek
    including Pleasantville, and the Duck River below
    Centerville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
