...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern De
Kalb, northwestern White and central Putnam Counties through 800 PM
CDT...
At 730 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles south of Baxter, or 9 miles northeast of Smithville, moving
northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Algood, Monterey, Baxter, Hamptons Crossroads, Bakers
Crossroads and Burgess Falls State Park.
This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 273 and 302.
