...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of central Wayne County
through 345 PM CDT...
At 328 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Olive Hill, or 12 miles southwest of Waynesboro, moving northeast at
35 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Waynesboro and Lutts.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
Middle Tennessee.
