...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of Cumberland and east
central White Counties through 130 AM CDT...
At 106 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles southwest of Crossville, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Crossville, Fairfield Glade, Crab Orchard, Pleasant Hill, Lake Tansi,
Cumberland Mountain State Park, Slate Springs, Indian Rock Lake and
Virgin Falls State Natural Area.
This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 311 and 329.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
