The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
  Eastern Arkansas
  Northwest Mississippi
  Western Tennessee

* Effective this Friday night and Saturday morning from 1150 PM
  until 400 AM CDT.

* Primary threats include...
  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 65 mph possible
  A tornado or two possible

SUMMARY...A nearly continuous/bowing line of storms will steadily
move east-northeastward across the region through the early
overnight. While instability will tend to weaken overnight, overall
ingredients will still support the possibility of damaging winds and
possibly a brief tornado with storms embedded within the bowing
line.

The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 30
statute miles east and west of a line from 20 miles east northeast
of Jonesboro AR to 115 miles south of Jonesboro AR. For a complete

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
tornadoes.
