...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northern Dickson,
Montgomery, southern Stewart, northern Cheatham, Houston and
Robertson Counties through 230 PM CDT...

At 143 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Adams to Dover. Movement was southeast at 15
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Springfield, Erin, Clarksville, White House, Greenbrier, Coopertown,
Tennessee Ridge, Pleasant View, Adams, Vanleer, Cedar Hill,
Cumberland City, Slayden, Cheatham Dam, Palmyra, Houston County
Airport and Cunningham.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 108 and 110.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 6 and 28.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
