...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 AM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN DE KALB...NORTHWESTERN WHITE AND SOUTHWESTERN PUTNAM
COUNTIES...

At 329 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles southwest of
Baxter, or 9 miles northeast of Smithville, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Sparta, Algood, Baxter, Center Hill Lake, Hamptons
Crossroads, Bakers Crossroads, Burgess Falls State Park and Edgar
Evans State Park.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 268 and 292.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
