Survey Summary:
The tornado first touched down off of Hagan Road near the
Alabama/Tennessee state line where several trees were uprooted
and snapped along with damage occurring to some outbuildings
and barns. As the tornado moved northeast, additional damage
occurred just northwest of the town of Prospect mainly off of Alf
Harris Road with several trees snapped and uprooted again with
several barns sustaining roof damage. More tornado damage to trees
and outbuildings occurred on HWY 273 near Kelly and Liberty roads
before the tornado lifted just before reaching the city of Elkton.
