...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Tennessee...
Harpeth River Near Kingston Springs affecting Cheatham County.
For the Harpeth River...including Kingston Springs...Minor flooding
is forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.
The next statement will be issued Friday morning at 800 AM CST.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Harpeth River Near Kingston Springs.
* WHEN...Until early Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, The access road to the Narrows of the
Harpeth State Park begins to be inundated.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:00 PM CST Thursday the stage was 22.2 feet and rising.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 1:00 PM CST Thursday was 22.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.5
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage tomorrow evening.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
24.4 feet on 01/23/1999.
