This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Middle Tennessee.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Some light snow could move into our northwestern counties as early as
the pre dawn hours. Thus, if the snow materializes, a light covering
of snowfall will occur on all exposed surfaces. Motorists are urged
to drive with caution if encountering snowfall in your area.
Otherwise, wind chill conditions have improved, but the unusually
cold weather will continue through Monday morning creating
potentially dangerous conditions for people and pets.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
Temperatures are expected to remain below freezing until midday
Monday. The prolonged period of cold temperatures increases the risk
for impacts to people, pets, and pipes. A dusting up to just under
one inch of snowfall is possible on Monday. The best chance of the
one inch accumulations will be for our northwestern counties. Slick
and hazardous roadways could accompany any snowfall that occurs.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
