This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Middle Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for Cumberland Plateau Region
through afternoon hours today. However, temperatures will remain
well below freezing through tonight. Even though wind chill values
are expected to be above wind advisory thresholds tonight, still
exposure to cold temperatures for prolonged periods of time can
result in conditions like hypothermia developing, as well as cause
frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Still
remember that outdoor pets and other animals should be brought
indoors or given extra protection and shelter to survive these
continuing unseasonably cold temperatures.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Temperatures are expected to remain below freezing until mid morning
hours on Monday, and for some of the higher locations across
Cumberland Plateau Region are not expected to get above freezing
until Tuesday. This could cause exposed or unprotected pipes to
rupture.
