...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
counties, Cheatham, Davidson, Robertson and Sumner.
* WHEN...Until 530 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 234 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to slow
moving thunderstorms across northern Cheatham, northern
Davidson, southern Robertson, and southwestern Sumner
Counties. Radar estimates up to 2 inches of rain has fallen
in the past hour. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly in the advisory area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Springfield, Ashland City, White House, Millersville,
Greenbrier, Coopertown, Ridgetop, Cross Plains and Joelton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
