...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of east central
Davidson, north central Rutherford and southwestern Wilson Counties
through 245 PM CDT...

At 156 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Rural Hill to near Smyrna. Movement was
east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Smyrna, La Vergne, Mount Juliet, Hermitage, Rural Hill, Belinda City,
Walterhill, Percy Priest Lake and Gladeville.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 217 and 229.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 60 and 71.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
