The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Tornado Watch for portions of
Central to northeast Arkansas
Far southeast Missouri
Southwest Tennessee
* Effective this Friday night from 750 PM until Midnight CDT.
* Primary threats include...
A couple intense tornadoes possible
Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 3.5
inches in diameter likely
Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
SUMMARY...Long-track intense supercell over north-central Arkansas
should persist at it spreads towards the Mississippi River.
Additional storms should develop to its southwest through late
evening.
The tornado watch area is approximately along and 50 statute miles
north and south of a line from 25 miles north of Little Rock AR to
25 miles south southeast of Dyersburg TN. For a complete depiction

REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
and possible warnings.
