March, 2022 was warmer and drier than normal, and also quite
windy.

In Nashville, the average temperature was 54.5 degrees. This was 3
degrees above normal. The average high temperature was 66.3
degrees and the average low temperature was 42.7 degrees. The
highest temperature was 83 degrees on the 30th. The lowest
temperature was 20 degrees on the 13th. There were 4 days when the
temperature got down to freezing.

Precipitation for the month was 3.80 inches. This was 0.72 inches
below normal. The greatest 24-hour rainfall was 1.45 inches on the
22nd. There were 10 days with measurable rainfall. There was also
2.8 inches of snow -- all of which occurred on the 11th and 12th.

There was only 1 day with thunderstorms in March. The fastest
wind gust was 55 mph on the 30th. There were 3 additional days
with gusts of 40 mph or greater. There were 9 days when the
average wind speed was 10 mph or greater.

In Clarksville, the average temperature was 52.4 degrees. This
