This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Middle Tennessee.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
Patchy dense fog is possible Saturday morning, especially near rivers
and lakes. Drivers are urged to use caution as visibility may change
rapidly over short distances.
A potent storm system will bring scattered to numerous showers and
thunderstorms to the area late Sunday night into Monday. Some strong
to severe thunderstorms appear possible, especially on Monday morning
along and west of I-65, with damaging winds and isolated tornadoes
the main threats.
Another intense cold front will bring widespread showers and storms
to Middle Tennessee on Wednesday into Wednesday night. Once again, a
few strong to severe storms look to be possible, mainly south of
I-40, with damaging winds and heavy rainfall the main threats.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation may be needed on Monday and again on Wednesday for
possible strong to severe storms. Please relay any information about
observed severe weather to the NWS while following all local, state,
and CDC guidelines.
