...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern
Davidson, northwestern Rutherford and northeastern Williamson
Counties through 600 PM CDT...

At 529 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles west of Murfreesboro, moving north at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Murfreesboro, Smyrna, La Vergne, Nolensville and Triune.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 61 and 78.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 42 and 55, and between mile
markers 59 and 60.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for Middle
Tennessee.
