...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Visibility 1/4 mile or less in dense fog.
* WHERE...Southern portions of Middle Tennessee and the central
and southern Cumberland Plateau.
* WHEN...Until 9 AM CDT this morning.
* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...In addition to the dense fog, given that
temperatures will be at or below freezing in some areas, patchy
freezing fog will also be possible. This may produce a few slick
spots on roadway surfaces.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of
distance ahead of you.
