Tennessee...
Harpeth River Near Kingston Springs affecting Cheatham County.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

television, or NOAA Weather Radio for further information.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Harpeth River Near Kingston Springs.
* Until this morning.
* At 6:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 25.1 feet and falling.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 6:00 AM CDT Monday was 35.4 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage this
afternoon and continue falling to 5.7 feet early Saturday morning.
* Impact...At 25.0 feet, The access road to the Narrows of the
Harpeth State Park begins to be inundated.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 25.1
feet on 03/18/2002.
