...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CDT SUNDAY FOR
SOUTHWESTERN DICKSON, HICKMAN, SOUTHERN HUMPHREYS, NORTHWESTERN
LEWIS, NORTHWESTERN MAURY AND PERRY COUNTIES...

At 1130 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Doppler radar.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
         drainage and low lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Dickson, Hohenwald, Centerville, Linden, Burns, Lobelville,
  Pleasantville, Bucksnort, Kimmins, Pinewood, Nunnelly, Lyles, Bon
  Aqua, I-40 Near The Tennessee River, Primm Springs, Williamsport
  and Mousetail Landing State Park.

Areas of concern include Big Spring Creek including Bon Aqua, Mill
Creek including Wrigley and Lyles, Lick Creek including Primm
Springs and Littelot, and Sugar Creek including Bucksnort.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
