...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 AM CDT
FOR DICKSON...NORTHWESTERN WILLIAMSON...SOUTH CENTRAL CHEATHAM...
SOUTHEASTERN HUMPHREYS AND NORTHERN HICKMAN COUNTIES...

At 630 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Charlotte to 9 miles west of Centerville, moving east
at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Dickson, White Bluff, Kingston Springs, Pegram, McEwen, Burns,
Charlotte, Bon Aqua, Pinewood, Lyles and Bucksnort.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 148 and 189.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 1 and 7.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
