...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN DAVIDSON AND NORTHEASTERN WILLIAMSON COUNTIES...
At 806 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Nolensville, or
10 miles northeast of Franklin, moving northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Brentwood, La Vergne, Nolensville, Oak Hill, Antioch and Percy Priest
Lake.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 65 between mile markers 72 and 75.
Interstate 24 between mile markers 56 and 63.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for Middle
Tennessee.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
