The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Davidson County in Middle Tennessee...
  Northern Maury County in Middle Tennessee...
  Williamson County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 430 PM CDT.

* At 401 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Columbia,
  moving northeast at 80 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Franklin, Columbia, Brentwood, Spring Hill, Nolensville, Forest
  Hills, Oak Hill, Belle Meade, Thompson's Station, Bellevue, Natchez
  Trace At Highway 96, Triune, Santa Fe, Williamsport and Leipers
  Fork.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 194 and 200.
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 50 and 74.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 12 and 42.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for Middle
Tennessee.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect for the warned area. Tornadoes can
develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Although a tornado is not
immediately likely, if one is spotted, act quickly and move to a
place of safety inside a sturdy structure such as a basement or small
interior room.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
