...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHEASTERN DICKSON AND SOUTH
CENTRAL CHEATHAM COUNTIES UNTIL 845 AM CDT...

At 816 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
White Bluff, or 10 miles east of Dickson, moving southeast at 15 mph.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes, brief heavy rainfall,
small hail, and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
White Bluff, Kingston Springs and Burns.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 178 and 181, and
between mile markers 185 and 188.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Brief heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to ponding of waters on roadways to localized minor flooding. Do not
drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
