...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR CENTRAL HOUSTON...HUMPHREYS AND
NORTHWESTERN HICKMAN COUNTIES UNTIL 845 PM CDT...

At 805 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
New Johnsonville, or near Camden, moving northeast at 20 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Waverly, Camden, Erin, New Johnsonville, McEwen, Hurricane Mills and
I-40 Near The Tennessee River.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 136 and 146, and
between mile markers 158 and 162.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
