This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Middle Tennessee.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Patchy dense fog will be possible across entire mid state region
through mid morning hours today.
A heat advisory is in effect for locations west of Cumberland
Plateau Region late this morning through afternoon hours today.
Heat index values will range from around 105 to 109 degrees.
Some strong thunderstorms maybe possible after midnight tonight
across Upper Cumberland Region which could result in brief heavy
rainfall leading to localized minor flooding.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
Heat index values of around 105 degrees maybe possible for locations
west of Cumberland Plateau Region Friday afternoon.
Some strong thunderstorms may be possible mainly during afternoon
through early evening hours Friday through Sunday. Main concerns
with any strong thunderstorm development will be gusty strong winds
and brief heavy rainfall which could lead to localized minor
flooding.
